Craftsman Collective was founded by Dr. Robert Howard, a lifelong tradesman and internationally experienced construction professional holding a Master of Science and PhD in construction economics from University College London, UK.

Dr. Howard’s experience in the building trades, coupled with the highest levels of construction academia, led to the founding of Craftsman Collective, which utilizes a unique approach to construction: self-performing the majority of skilled labor with an in-house crew and offering all materials at cost. In so doing, traditional adversarial construction relationships are replaced with a shared risk/reward environment and total price transparency for clients.

Robert is a passionate creator and the driving force behind Craftsman Collective. With a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and design, he has dedicated his career to inspiring others to embrace their creative potential. His vision is to cultivate a community where creativity flourishes and collaboration thrives.
